Mini-Rage coaches should take advantage of this opportunity to build their coaching experience and resume. As I have said over and over again. Being a "professional" soccer coach is a very realistic goal for every one of you. The fact that you have already been on the training ground coaching players puts you far ahead of your peers. Use this time to take advantage of the courses and licensing provided through the US Soccer Learning Center. The US Soccer Learning Center is the place to start with to take or coordinate their soccer licensing journey.
Step One:
Go to the US Soccer Learning Center and create an account and log in.
Step Two:
Within the US Soccer Learning Center take the introductory Grassroots Course Online (about twenty minutes). This course is free.
Step Three:
Take one of the small sided online courses (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, or 11v11) offered within the US Soccer Learning Center. This course is approximately $25. You may request through Sam to get Chinqually to pay for this course.
Step Four:
Sign-up through the US Soccer Learning Center and attend the in-person small sided course.(4v4, 7v7, or 9v9). This course is approximately $80. You may request through Sam to get Chinqually to pay for this course
Step Five:
Sign-up through the US Soccer Learning Center and attend the in-person 11v11 sided course This course is approximately $80 and like the others you may request through Sam to get Chinqually to pay for the course.
Step Six:
Sign up through the US Soccer Learning Center and attend the D License course. You must have completed the above requirements, be at least 16 years of age and coaching a team. This course is approximately $575 and you may go through Sam to request Chinqually to pay for this course.
Step Seven:
Celebrate building a strong soccer coaching resume and achieving significant coaching education. Keep coaching and change the world one player at a time.
If you aggressively move through these courses by early fall you could be complete with your D License. This is quite an accomplishment.
